Got a Peek

I had my 9 week appointment with the doctor yesterday and honestly wasn't expecting anything exciting - it's too early to hear the heartbeat on a doppler and I didn't know of any plans to do an ultrasound. So I was extremely happy when the doc wheeled in a little portable ultrasound machine to check in on Baby Mikke! She knew I was anxious because of the spotting and wanted to confirm everything was okay. Well, it was fantastic!! Mikke grew perfectly, and even jumped around for us on the screen! Pete said it moved quick like the Flash, which has become a nice backup nickname. From now on they'll be able to check in on the baby using the doppler, but it was awesome to get another little peek.
