Juliet is a year old! It really is hard to believe, until I watch her and see what a little girl she is, rather than a baby.
If you ask Juliet to give you a hug, she leans her head on you. She'll stop playing to do it, or go give someone a hug if you ask her. It is so sweet.
Juliet still only has two teeth. It is pretty cute! I assume she'll get the rest of her teeth someday...
Juliet loves her big brother and she loves him. It is so much fun to watch them play together! No one makes her laugh the way he does.
For her birthday, Juliet got her first baby doll. She loves holding her and giving her a pacifier. The doll is almost as big as she is!
Juliet eats a lot. More than Ben sometimes. She has the same food we do, and we are gradually cutting back her bottles. Instead of an afternoon bottle she now gets yogurt, and her other bottles have a little cow milk in them. I am reluctant to work on getting rid of the bedtime bottle because she goes to bed SO easily now! We'll work on that later.
We still get two naps a day, though one is usually pretty short. Juliet still naps about 8:30am and 1pm, and one nap is less than an hour while the other closer to 90 minutes. She wakes up around 6am and goes to bed between 7 and 7:30.
At her checkup, Juliet weighed in at 21 lb, 29", both perfectly 50th percentile. Maybe she'll trump the doctor's predictions after all and be a tall one! She wears 12-month clothes, which still amazes me - Ben's size never matched his age!
