Monster Jam

Pete took Ben to see the Monster Jam monster truck show, and Ben was in total heaven. They went early for the Pit Pass entry, and got to walk around by the monster trucks.

After exploring the pit and before the start of the show, they headed out to the car for a picnic dinner.

Then it was time for the show!

Before the last appearance by Gravedigger, Ben was sitting excitedly on the edge of his seat. As the truck roared out into the arena, Ben fell of the front of his seat and hit his head somewhere sharp. He ended up needing two staples! First aid at Reliant Arena got him wrapped up for the trip to the ER, and you can see he wasn't too phased by his turban. Of course, it was almost midnight by the time they got to the ER, so not even unwrapping his bandage could wake that kid up.
