Virginia Visit - Days 1 & 2

Since work was sending me to DC for a conference, we decided to go a few days early to visit family and friends. I was having too much fun (and too busy chasing the kids) to get out the camera a whole lot, but you can see some other pictures on Katy's blog and Kim's blog.

Saturday morning we had breakfast with the Jakub's before heading to Kendall's soccer game. Then we picked up some pumpkins to carve and hung out at the Mikkelsen's. Sunday morning we had bubble coffee cake for breakfast (a Mikkelsen tradition) and explored the woods behind their house. I took Ben and Juliet to Charlie's birthday party while Peter went to Kendall's other soccer game. Then we headed back to the Jakub's where Ben had a great time in Isaac's four-wheeler and both kids had a blast on the playset in the back.
