4th of July

We had a wonderful (and long!) Fourth of July this year. We followed our same path from last year, starting at the Seabrook 4th celebration, then moving over to the League City party. We went home for a quick break and a nap for Juliet, before heading over to the Pasadena Fairgrounds. In Pasadena, our celebration was cut a bit short by a rough thunderstorm moving through, cutting power in the pavilion! It moved on quickly in typical Texas fashion, giving us time to grab some dinner before camping out for the Webster fireworks. The kids were a bit strung out by the time the fireworks started, but Pete and I had never been that close to a fireworks display and both really enjoyed it. It was nice that the 4th was a Friday, so after that long day we still had the whole weekend to recover.
