Thanksgiving in the Sequoias

We went out to California for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time! We spent the first part of the trip in the Sierras, in Sequoia National Park. A storm had just rolled through and dropped several feet of unseasonable snow, which changed the nature of our hikes a little, but we still had a great time. Later in the week we met up with my whole family - my grandparents (who celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary today), their children, five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. What a blessing! Here are just a couple pictures. Click here to see the rest.

The snow was a lot deeper than we expected!

The cousins.

The great-grandchildren.

Tired baby ready to head home!
