We took advantage of the fantastic weather and went to the newly revamped Texas City Dike with Ben. The dike was badly damaged during Hurricane Ike and was closed for years, but it's been open about a year now and looks great. It is as nice as the beach in Galveston and not crowded. Ben had a great time, we played in the water, dug in the sand, flew a kite, and chased the birds. I couldn't narrow down my pictures to just a few, so I put them all on Flickr. Here is the slideshow!
