Virginia - Philadelphia

Pete and I had never been to Philadelphia, so that was our next stop. We started at the Please Touch Museum, where the kids had a ton of fun. There were a lot of areas for pretend play, craft projects, and a beautiful carousel. Then we grabbed cheesesteaks at Gino's for lunch, checked into our hotel, and headed over to take a duck tour. Those are the amphibious tours that drive through the city and then do a little river tour. The kids loved driving down into the water, but were pretty ambivalent about the rest of the tour. By then we were all pretty pooped, so we just relaxed in our hotel room and got a pizza delivered. It was a nice, laid back day!
