Virginia - Sesame Place

Saturday morning started off with a bang. We were just going a little north of Philadelphia for the day, and didn't need too early of a start, but then the fire alarm went off in the hotel! We all had to evacuate, the kids were still in their jammies and barefoot... We walked down the street and had breakfast at Starbucks with many other people from the hotel. The locals couldn't figure out why there was such a long line at 7:30am!

Saturday and Sunday we met friends at Sesame Place, a cute little amusement and water park for kids. It was a nice hot day for the water park, and the water rides were fun though the lines were pretty long on Saturday. Sunday was a lot quieter, and we got to do all the rides as many times as we wanted. We ended the day Sunday watching a fun Elmo/Cookie Monster musical before getting on the road for the 3 hour drive home. The kids slept most of the way and after all the driving over the past few days, we finally broke out the DVD player to help them get the rest of the way home.
