Sippy Pro
I couldn't leave those bee pictures up any longer because they give me the creeps, so here are some photos of Ben learning to use a sippy cup! Our good friend Dr. Jenn suggested we give Ben a little water with meals because it's so hot here now (and to help with some... blockage... issues Ben's been having down below), and he's already doing great!
He's learning to tip the cup back. (We're noticing use of the left hand more and more, Ben's Grandma Karen will be so proud if he turns out to be a leftie!)
He does love to throw the sippy cup, though. (And we still have to use the shoulder straps on the highchair or he'll just lean over and suck on the tray.)
This is still the only way to be sure he actually gets any water.

These are great! You can buy them at Babies R Us or Walgreens or online...http://www.nothrow.com/ We had 2 one...one to keep on the stroller and one on the high chair. Super handy!
ReplyDeleteAvery is a bit of a slow learner with the sippy cup. Not sure if it's her or the type of sippy cup that's not working so great. We've tried a few different kinds too. What kind is Ben using?
ReplyDeleteAudrey *never* got the whole "tip the cup" thing. We eventually just gave up and moved on to a straw cup. :)
